It is looking more and more like a Nintendo Direct is heading our way. Nintendo Directs are online video presentations hosted by Nintendo that unveil new game titles, sequels, release dates, and downloadable content (DLC) announcements, occasionally including hardware updates.
Per the notable Nintendo sleuth who goes by @Stealth40k on X, Nintendo has had a September Direct before the Tokyo Game Show every year since 2017.
This year appears to be no different, per notable Nintendo leaker @Pyoro_x, who not only is hinting at another one this year, but they even have supposed inside knowledge of which games will be showcased. Scroll down to see which games they have hinted so far…
A new F-Zero Game, per this cryptic MATLAB word-puzzle post:

Something about Pac-Man 99, this one is anybody’s guess…
